We are pleased to be part of a three days “Security Awareness Manager” training program of Swiss Info Sec AG in which we contribute with our expertise in human-centered information security.

Within the course “Human-Centered Information Security”, we explore how adopting a systemic perspective can provide deeper insights into the many factors that shape security behavior within organizations. In particular, we explore how people’s security behavior is shaped by both individual and organizational factors. Instead of viewing humans as the “weakest link,” we highlight their role as active partners in building security. The course combines insights from state-of-the-art risk and decision-making research with a focus on how structures, processes, and culture influence everyday security practices.
