Insider knowledge is often viewed as a security risk – yet it can also be leveraged and strengthened through participatory approaches. A presentation by HF Partners and Risiko-Dialog at the colloquium of the Swiss Police Institute (SPI) highlighted the potential of such approaches for the further development of security systems.

Franziska from HF Partners and Kristina Koch, Project Manager at Risiko-Dialog presented findings from the interdisciplinary research project READY, which was conducted in collaboration with the Zurich Cantonal Police. The project demonstrated how participatory and interdisciplinary approaches can contribute to the design and improvement of resilient and effective security systems.
