Angela Bearth, CEO and Founder of HF Partners, contributed as a member of the project team to the successful organisation of the third CHANGE workshop, bringing together experts from across the regulatory toxicology ecosystem. In the workshop, system-based interventions to increase the effective use of New Approach Methodologies (NAMs) in regulatory decision-making were developed. Building on the system model developed during the CHANGE project (see here for more information), participants co-designed interventions aimed at addressing barriers and fostering the uptake of NAMs across the system. The workshop marked an important step from understanding the complexity of the regulatory toxicology system towards identifying concrete actions that can support a more effective and sustainable transition to modern testing approaches.
