The Norwegian Scientific Committee for Food and Environment (VKM) participates in the Partnership for the Assessment of Risks from Chemicals (PARC). PARC aims to develop next-generation chemical risk assessment (NGRA) to protect human health and the environment. It supports the European Union’s Chemicals Strategy for Sustainability and the European Green Deal’s “Zero pollution” ambition with new data, knowledge, methods and tools, expertise and networks.

The aim of the sub-project within PARC is to develop tools for the evaluation of external and internal validity of in vitro studies. Angela Bearth (HF Partners) is involved in the research team at VKM.
